Job summary

Impact Connects is seeking an Inserter Operator I to proficiently run inserting equipment on the 2nd shift (2:30 pm–2:30 am, Mon–Wed). You will read work tickets, follow SOPs, and ensure quality and productivity on 6x9 and #10 OSE sized jobs up to four inserts.

You may supervise machine temps and sorter/bagger staff and report issues to the shift supervisor. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3–6 months related experience.

Qualifications

• Read and understand job instructions in the form of work tickets.
• Know and follow Letter Shop’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Able to operate 6x9 & #10 OSE size jobs up to 4 inserts properly & safely.
• Responsible for the quality and quantity of each assigned job.
• Act as team leader for their machine’s assigned workers (sorter/bagger and/or temps).
• Able to read and understand all associated forms and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate inserting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort and containerize mail classes.
• Keep production areas clean at all times.
• Report production issues to shift supervisor promptly.
• Perform duties assigned by supervisor.
