Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Network Float Pool in a PRN, day-shift outpatient setting. The OT will evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based therapy to patients with physical disabilities or functional limitations, and will coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by the AOTA, prior to starting employment (Required).
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university approved by the AOTA, prior to starting employment (Preferred).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners license in good standing prior to starting employment (Required).
• Six months' experience in a network float position or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to individuals with physical disabilities or functional limitations.
• Develop and update plan of care in collaboration with patient/family to restore function.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and billing sheets.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and preceptor/mentorship programs.
