Qualifications

• Associates degree in HIM or related field required.
• 7 years inpatient coding experience in acute care.
• Experience with revenue cycle processes, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and health information workflows.

Responsabilités

• Review complex inpatient documentation to assign ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure correct code selection following Official Coding Guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain productivity and quality targets (95% quality, 100% productivity).
• Collaborate with CDI and Quality teams to align DRG and reconcile Medicare cases.
• Participate in payer audits and clinical team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
