Requirements include 3+ years of healthcare coding experience and active certifications (RHIT/RHIA/CPC/CCS/CCS-P). Remote work states include Minnesota, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience doing code assignment in a healthcare setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification required upon hire (RHIT/RHIA, CPC, CCS, or CCS-P).

Responsabilidades

• Review documentation and assign ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS codes according to guidelines.
• Identify principal diagnosis, comorbidities, and determine code sequencing for DRG.
• Abstract data for reporting and enter coded information into the system.
• Collaborate with CDI team to align clinical and coding approaches.
