DaMar Staffing seeks an In-Patient Coder to handle medical coding and data entry for hospital inpatient visits, specializing in CABG, Orthopedic, and Medical cases. The role uses the 3M 360 Encoder HDM to streamline coding and billing processes.

Essential qualifications include a 2-year degree or equivalent, AHIMA or AAPC certification, and experience coding complex inpatient cases. The position requires accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work across multiple sites.

Formación

• Minimum requirements include a 2-year degree or equivalent experience with AHIMA/AAPC certification.
• Active credentials such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC or COC are required.
• Experience coding CABG, Orthopedic, and medical cases is required.
• Experience using the 3M 360 Encoder HDM is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient records with DRG accuracy.
• Create compliant physician queries when needed.
• Review claims for medical necessity and coding accuracy.
• Update problem lists per client contract.
• Assign present on admission indicators and support multi-site coding.
