Job summary

Boston Medical Center - Brighton is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver inpatient behavioral health care in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients while coordinating with the health care team and families.

The role requires a MA RN license, a nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN preferred), and 1+ year of inpatient behavioral health experience, with BLS and EHR proficiency. Schedule is 24 hours weekly, days, at 7a–7:30p.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts
• Nursing degree (Diploma, ASN or BSN preferred)
• Ambition to obtain BSN within 4 years
• 1+ years of inpatient behavioral health RN experience
• BLS certification and basic computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in inpatient behavioral health setting
• Communicate with health care team, patients, and families
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data
• Follow policies of BMC nursing organization
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects
