Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
• Experience serving on a school leadership team.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status, or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Attend all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; work after hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve actively on the school leadership team to shape the school's academic vision, culture, and strategic goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide direction and input for county curriculum initiatives ensuring local alignment with district goals.
• Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher training sessions and professional development workshops.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Serve as a certified mentor to guide new and developing educators.
• Offer hands-on instructional coaching, co-teaching, and peer observations.
• Model advanced instructional strategies including technology integration and data-driven differentiation.
