Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Attendance at all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the school leadership team to shape academic vision, culture, and goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide direction for county curriculum initiatives and ensure school alignment with district goals.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Mentor new and developing educators through instructional coaching and peer observations.
