Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent leadership capacity.
Valid State Teaching Certification.
Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
Growth mindset with attendance at all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

Serve actively on the school leadership team to help shape the school’s academic vision, culture, and strategic goals.
Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
Provide direction and input for county curriculum initiatives, aligning local schools with district goals.
Attend all 10 mandated training sessions and translate district curriculum changes into classroom strategies for peers.
Serve as a certified mentor and offer instructional coaching, co-teaching, and peer observations.
