Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
• Leadership Track Record: Proven experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
• Certification: Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Mentorship Credential: Current Certified Mentor status, or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Growth Mindset: Commitment to continuous learning; attend all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve actively on the school leadership team to help shape the school’s academic vision, culture, and strategic goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide direction for county curriculum team initiatives, ensuring local school alignment with district goals.
• Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher training sessions and professional development workshops.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Serve as a certified mentor to guide new and developing educators.
• Offer hands-on instructional coaching, co-teaching opportunities, and peer observations to support colleagues in adopting innovative teaching methods.
• Model advanced instructional strategies, including technology integration, data-driven differentiation, and student-centered learning.
