Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent leadership capacity.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Attendance at all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the school leadership team to help shape academic vision, culture, and goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide direction for county curriculum initiatives and align with district goals.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Serve as a certified mentor to guide new and developing educators; provide instructional coaching and co-teaching.
• Model advanced instructional strategies including technology integration and data-driven differentiation.
