Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ processing experience in plastics packaging is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold samplings and qualification for new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits and cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding.
• Attend project/design reviews and tool specification meetings.
• Train personnel in machine processing and tool design changes.
• Support plants with equipment, process, and tooling qualifications.
• Perform DOE and process capability studies to ensure standards.
• Maintain data on tooling and process conditions across facilities.
• Lead sharing of best practices across manufacturing operations.
