Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee mold sampling and qualification for new and rebuilt tools, and to optimize molding processes for dimensional accuracy and cycle-time efficiency.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background with 5+ years in plastics packaging, strong communication, and SPC knowledge. Travel up to 75% may be required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' processing experience in the plastics packaging industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SPC is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Mold samplings, qualification services for new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits within cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection/blow molding.
• Lead project meetings, design reviews, and tool specification discussions.
• Provide plant training in machine processing and tooling design changes.
