Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to manage all aspects of mold sampling, qualification, and process optimization for new and rebuilt tooling. You will work with plant technical teams to support startups, protocol validation, and issue resolution across multiple manufacturing facilities.

You will develop DOE studies, establish standard processing methods, and mentor operators in technical areas to improve line efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in plastics/process engineering in packaging or molding.
• Experience with injection molding and mold/tooling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mold samplings and qualification services on new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet design specs within target cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection/blow molding.
• Attend design reviews, tool specification meetings, and training sessions.
• Lead plant-quality and engineering collaboration to drive process improvements.
