The Specialty Alliance is seeking an Infusion Scheduler to coordinate infusion appointments for Connecticut GI Care Centers and external facilities. The role ensures referrals, authorizations, labs, and orders are complete before scheduling and serves as the main liaison among patients, providers, nursing, billing, and authorization teams.

You will verify medication details, treatment frequency, site of service, and insurance information, then schedule accordingly while maintaining thorough

Formación

• Experience in medical scheduling and infusion services preferred.
• Strong numeric and data entry accuracy with HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication with patients, providers, and staff.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate infusion referrals, authorizations, labs, and orders prior to scheduling.
• Schedule initial and follow-up infusion appointments per orders and protocols.
• Maintain EMR data accuracy and HIPAA compliant records.
• Serve as primary contact for scheduling questions from patients and staff.
• Collaborate with nursing, billing, and authorization teams to resolve issues.
