Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Cancer Care & Infusion Therapy Specialist to support complex chemotherapy regimens, scheduling, and patient flow in the Cancer Care Center. The role collaborates with the Practice Coordinator and Manager to optimize operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years’ experience in clinical or medical administrative support required.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes physicians' orders and schedules according to unit policy and completes all related forms.
• Enters order-related messages, validates information, and obtains results to support patient care.
• Schedule complex patient appointments based on treatment type, acuity and resources.
• Review and resolve billing, coding, authorization and insurance issues affecting patient care or reimbursement.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.
