Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. in Riverside, CA is seeking a Patient Scheduler to coordinate clinical staffing and schedule visits for patients, nurses, and network staff.

The role requires collaboration with pharmacy, nursing, and warehouse teams to align schedules and confirm deliveries while protecting patient confidentiality. You will interpret physician orders, perform documentation and reporting in scheduling platforms, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of scheduling experience.
• At minimum, 1 year of experience in a general office administration setting or a similar fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate staffing is arranged for all patient care.
• Coordinates, monitors and schedules patient care across all clinical areas.
• Contacts patients and clinicians to schedule and confirm deliveries and visits.
• Interprets physician orders and schedules according to orders.
• Completes tasks and runs reports in required platforms.
• Coordinates scheduling needs with staffing availability.
• Ensures management is aware of staffing needs and requirements.
• Facilitates patient complaints or issues to appropriate department.
• May perform clerk functions in the absence of a clerk.
• Observes confidentiality of patient and company information.
