Requirements

• Schedule and coordinate infusion appointments for patients in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff to confirm appointments and address scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records and patient information.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure availability of infusion rooms and necessary resources.
• Monitor appointment flow to optimize clinic efficiency and reduce patient wait times- Assist in managing patient flow and providing support to clinical teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards related to patient scheduling.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred.
• Proven experience in scheduling, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of healthcare software and electronic health records (EHR) systems (EPIC).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
