Logan Health is seeking an experienced Infusion Scheduler to support the Hospital Infusion team. The role connects patients, clinical staff, referring offices, insurance companies, and departments to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling of infusion services.

The Scheduler communicates with patients in person and by phone, handling detailed scheduling, medical documentation, insurance requirements, referrals, and prior authorizations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two years of scheduling experience.
• Experience with medical terminology.
• Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and referrals.

Aufgaben

• Schedule and coordinate infusion appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with patients in person and by phone about appointments and instructions.
• Coordinate with clinical teams, referring offices, and insurance providers.
• Review referrals, orders, and authorizations to ensure scheduling requirements are met.
• Assist with insurance verification and prior authorization tracking.
• Maintain accurate patient and scheduling data in EMR systems.
• Process incoming/outgoing faxes and electronic documents.
• Identify missing information and follow up as needed.
