Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking an Infusion Specialist to coordinate all aspects of patient navigation for infusion services, including scheduling, authorizations, and cross-disciplinary communication.

Under supervision of the Patient Services Manager, you will liaise with referring offices, patients, pharmacy, and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflows and timely treatment while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years in a clinical or outpatient setting required; infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with telephone reception and scheduling preferred.
• Knowledge of Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infusion scheduling and patient navigation with the care team.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and departments to ensure smooth infusion workflows.
• Maintain documentation and review insurance information and pre-infusion requirements.
• Support administrative workflow and cross-functional collaboration.
