Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) in Georgia to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations in compliance with regulatory standards. The Manager will monitor finances, communicate with owners, and drive clinical implementation of therapies.

The role requires GA Board licensure (B.S or PharmD), strong leadership, customer service, and business acumen. Infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have B.S or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.
• Preferred: three (3) years clinical experience.
• Preferred: experience managing pharmacy support personnel.
• Preferred: minimum one (1) year experience with infusion therapy and sterile compounding.
• Preferred: sterile compounding training.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies; demonstrates sound business knowledge, leadership, and stewardship attributes.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Management and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on the provision of health care by professionals.
• Acts as a resource for departments and staff in resolving questions and issues.
• Implements and upholds company policies, procedures, and protocols in serving consumers.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care.
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> to ensure quality and sterility of compounded products.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to relevant activities.
• Reviews charts and lab results for product and device selection and supply management.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost, safety, and completeness.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates clinical information to physicians and healthcare team.
• Supervises the pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling of products.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and continues education.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
