Job summary

Workforce Recruiter in Georgia seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. You will monitor financial performance and report to owners on finance, performance improvement, and clinical therapy implementation.

The role requires GA licensure (B.S or PharmD), strong communication with staff and providers, and strategic leadership to improve care quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Requires: B.S or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers
• Excellent written and verbal customer service and advanced computer skills
• Business and financial understanding to operate a profitable business
• Preferred: 3 years clinical experience
• Preferred: Experience managing pharmacy support staff
• Preferred: 1+ year infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience
• Preferred: Sterile compounding training

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory/ethical standards and internal policies
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees across departments
• Upholds regulatory mandates on provision of healthcare by professionals
• Acts as resource for departments and staff to resolve questions and issues
• Implements and upholds company policies, procedures, and protocols for customers
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> to assure sterility and stability of compounded sterile preparations
• Leads performance improvement processes and assigns staff
• Reviews charts and lab results for therapeutic appropriateness, cost, safety, and completeness
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to physicians/healthcare team
• Supervises pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling of products
• Provides training/orientation and participates in on-call rotation
