Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to help grow the company by coordinating referrals and intakes with strong customer and physician service. The role ensures patients receive the highest level of infusion care and works onsite at the Mason, OH center.

This full-time position operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Ideal candidates have prior experience reading medical charts and performing insurance pre-authorizations, with a plan to support a

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Experience with insurance prior authorization is required.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the infusion referral process, including obtaining authorizations and financial counseling.
• Coordinate with referring providers and communicate patient status.
• Explain referral process to patients with a customer-centric approach.
• Maintain medical inventory and office supplies; participate in a 6-week training plan.
