Job summary

Local Infusion is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator (Infusion Guide) to manage referral processing, authorizations, and patient communications at our Westchester/Sharonville, OH center. This full-time role offers predictable hours, a comprehensive benefits package, and a six-week training plan.

Ideal candidates have health care experience, prior infusion exposure, and familiarity with insurance pre-authorizations and electronic health records. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorizations.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Ability to learn new apps quickly.
• Overall medical insurance experience.
• Reading medical charts.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation necessary for treatment, and communicate status of their patients
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
