Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—on-site at our Mason, OH center. You will manage referrals, authorizations, and patient communication to ensure high-quality infusion care.

The role offers a full-time schedule, with a starting pay of $25/hour plus quarterly bonuses based on metrics, and comprehensive benefits. Prior authorization experience and medical terminology knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Prior experience with insurance pre-authorizations preferred.
• Medical terminology familiarity is expected.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral processes and authorizations.
• Coordinate financial counseling and benefit investigations.
• Communicate referral status to patients clearly and empathetically.
• Liaise with providers to obtain required documentation.
