Local Infusion is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator (an “Infusion Guide”) to coordinate referrals, obtain authorizations, and deliver excellent patient and physician service. This onsite role in Westchester/Sharonville, OH offers predictable hours, a full benefits package, and a 6-week training plan to ensure your success.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology experience and familiarity with medical charts.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps and navigate EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle the infusion referral process, obtain authorizations and financial counseling.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate status.
• Explain referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Communicate with referring/prescribing providers and manage inventory.
• Follow a structured 6-week training plan to succeed in the role.
