Local Infusion in New Haven, CT is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an Infusion Guide, to coordinate referrals, authorizations, and patient communications. This full-time onsite role offers predictable hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm), a starting wage of $25/hr with quarterly bonuses and full benefits.

Prior experience reading medical charts and insurance pre-authorizations preferred. You will work with referring providers, support inventory and training, and help deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience in health insurance pre-authorizations.
• Reading medical charts.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsabilités

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation necessary for treatment, and communicate status of their patients
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
