Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, or an “Infusion Guide,” to support referral and intake coordination at our Concord, NH center. This full-time, onsite role emphasizes patient service and streamlined authorization workflows.

You will handle authorizations, financial counseling, and communications with patients and providers, helping ensure high-quality infusion care with predictable hours. Training is provided and a quarterly bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Prior authorization experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
• Experience with medical insurance processes.
• Ability to quickly learn new apps and systems.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the infusion referral process, obtain authorizations, provide financial counseling, and conduct benefit investigations.
• Liaise with referring providers to gather required documentation and communicate patient status.
• Explain referral processes and status to patients in a customer-centric manner.
• Coordinate with prescribing providers and maintain open lines of communication.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a structured 6-week training plan to ensure success in the role.
