Local Infusion in Emerson, NJ is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator (Infusion Guide) to coordinate referrals and insurance pre-authorizations while delivering exceptional patient service. Enjoy a predictable M-F, 9:00am–5:30pm schedule in a fast-growing infusion center with supportive teammates.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and prior insurance authorization exposure, along with strong customer service and physician communication

Qualifications

• Experience reading medical charts.
• Insurance pre-authorization experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Liaise with referring providers to secure documentation and communicate patient status.
• Explain referral process and status to patients in a clear, customer-centric way.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure smooth care delivery.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
