Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to raise the bar in infusion therapy care. You will contribute to growth through detailed referral and intake coordination with excellent customer and physician service.

This full-time onsite role is based in Morristown, NJ, M-F, 9:00–5:30. Ideal candidates have experience reading medical charts and insurance pre-authorizations. Salary starts at $25/hr plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
• Experience using medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process: authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation.
• Liaise with referring providers and communicate patient status.
• Explain referral process to patients in a customer-focused way.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers.
