Job summary

Local Infusion in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an “Infusion Guide,” to support referral and intake coordination with patient-facing service. This full-time, onsite role offers predictable hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm) and a starting pay of $25 per hour plus a quarterly bonus.

You will handle authorizations, benefit investigations, and communications with providers and patients, while contributing to a friendly, high-quality infusion experience and a strong team

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Overall medical insurance experience.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation.
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed.
