Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an "Infusion Guide"—to join our onsite Alpharetta, GA center. This full-time role offers a 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, with salary starting at $25/hr plus quarterly bonuses based on metrics and full benefits.

The Infusion Guide will coordinate referrals and intake, ensuring patients receive high-quality care. Prior experience reading medical charts, insurance pre-authorizations, and knowledge of EHR systems are valued, with a 6-week

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance pre-authorization experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation necessary for treatment, and communicate status of their patients
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
