Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—to join our Riverhead, NY center onsite. This full-time role supports referrals, authorizations, and patient and physician service with a focus on accuracy and care.

You will handle insurance pre-authorizations, financial counseling, and engagement with providers, with a 8:00am-4:30pm schedule, and a starting salary of $25 per hour plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits.

Qualificações

• Health Care Experience Required
• Prior Experience in Infusion Preferred
• Insurance Prior Authorization Experience
• Medical Terminology Experience
• Overall Medical Insurance Experience
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems

Responsabilidades

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation necessary for treatment, and communicate status of their patients
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
