Job summary

Bechtel is hiring an Infrastructure Area Manager for the SPL5 project, a large LNG facility expansion in Cameron Parish, LA. The role oversees the Infrastructure GBU scope from planning through close-out, managing budgets, schedules, and safety performance.

Based initially in Houston, TX, relocation to Sabine Pass, LA is expected for long-term field work. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate contract activities, and ensure compliance with Bechtel and customer requirements to deliver

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or master's degree (or international equivalent) and extensive experience in large-scale construction.
• 13–19 years of multi-disciplinary site management experience or 17–19 years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversees total site management of the Infrastructure GBU scope of works.
• Coordinates contract, budget, schedule, procurement, and field operations.
• Ensures safety standards and quality requirements are met across the project.
• Leads multi-disciplinary teams and interfaces with client and contractors.
• Develops field procedures and supports cost estimates and forecasts.
