Bechtel invites applications for an Infrastructure Project Controls Lead on the SPL5 LNG expansion project in Cameron Parish, LA. The role supports preconstruction from a Houston home office before mobilizing to the Sabine Pass site for a long-term assignment.

The position leads the cost and schedule control activities for the Infrastructure GBU scope, sets project controls standards, and collaborates with contractors to meet milestones and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 8–12 years in Project Controls or 15+ years if no degree.
• Experience in planning/scheduling and cost engineering for heavy civil works (piling, earthworks, concrete).

Responsibilities

• Leads the project controls team and project control activities for the Infrastructure GBU scope.
• Defines project needs for cost and schedule control per Bechtel and client requirements.
• Develops and enforces policy, objectives and standards for cost and schedule control and analysis.
• Leads development, control, analysis, forecast and reporting of all schedule activities.
• Monitors impacts and develops schedule recovery plans as required.
• Leads cost activities and prepares cost trend estimates and reports.
