Job summary

Echo Electric Indianapolis is seeking an Operations Manager to lead warehouse and administrative functions, drive efficiency, and improve key financial metrics for the branch. You will evaluate processes and identify enhancements to raise safety, service levels, and overall performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations or distribution leadership, experience in inventory control and ERP systems, and strong coaching skills to develop teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive operations, distribution, warehouse, or branch leadership experience.
• Electrical or industrial distribution experience preferred.
• Experience leading and developing teams through coaching and accountability.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, operational metrics, and expense management.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehouse and administrative functions to assure efficient and effective services.
• Participate in recruitment and selection processes.
• Ensure staff development through training and performance management.
• Manage movement and audit of inventory.
• Coordinate inventory preparation, cycle counts, vendor returns, product displays, and promotions.
• Oversee debit memo process with accounting, and manage cash/credit transactions and pricing contracts.
• Ensure timely responses to calls/emails and other communications.
• Maintain customer relationships and trust with follow-up and problem resolution.
• Support branch safety activities and building security; report accidents.
• Assist other branches in securing customer orders with Sales and Managers.
