Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks an Operations Manager for the Indianapolis branch to lead warehouse and administrative functions and drive critical financial metrics. You will guide process improvements to elevate efficiency and service levels, while supporting recruitment, training, and cross-branch collaboration.

You will oversee inventory control, safety programs, and customer order execution, collaborating with the Sales team and management to maintain strong relations and on-time

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive operations, distribution, warehouse, or branch leadership experience; electrical or industrial distribution experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehouse and administrative functions to ensure efficient, quality customer service.
• Participate in recruitment and staff development through training and performance management.
• Manage inventory movement, audits, and cycle counts; coordinate vendor returns and display materials.
• Oversee debit memo process and cash/credit transactions with accounting; monitor pricing contracts.
• Ensure timely responses to calls and emails; maintain customer relationships and follow-up on issues.
• Support branch safety, facility security, and HR-guided accident reporting.
• Assist other branches in securing customer orders with Sales and Managers.
