Job summary

Stantec is seeking a process or mechanical engineer, or engineer-in-training, focused on industrial wastewater treatment and process mechanical design to join our Industrial Water team. This role offers design, planning, and field work under senior engineers across multiple offices.

You will contribute to design documentation, CAD models, P&IDs, and calculations, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects while adhering to schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering; ABET-accredited program.
• 1–3 years of experience in process or mechanical engineering for industrial clients.
• Hybrid working arrangement may be available; field work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supports design documentation, plans, and reports for project design elements.
• Executes assignments applying engineering fundamentals to produce work.
• Assists in developing designs via sketches, CAD models, diagrams, and P&ID development.
