Job summary

Stantec is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join the US/Canada water practice. The role involves designing water and industrial processes, performing mass and energy balances, preparing P&IDs, and contributing to proposals.

You will mentor staff and collaborate across disciplines to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions. The position requires an engineering degree (Mech/Chem) with 5+ years’ experience and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; PE licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of total experience in process/industrial water field.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe; familiarity with design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for water/industrial projects with multiple disciplines.
• Develop proposals, scopes, budgets, and schedules; engage in client presentations.
• Lead and mentor staff; coordinate project teams and construct documents.
• Prepare design basis documents, calculations, drawings, and reports; QA/QC on projects.
