Job summary

Stantec is seeking a process or mechanical engineer, or engineer-in-training, focused on industrial wastewater treatment and process mechanical design to join our Industrial Water team. This role supports design, calculations, and field work across multiple offices, collaborating with senior engineers and industry experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 1–3 years of experience in process or mechanical engineering for industrial clients.
• Hybrid working arrangement may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support design documentation, plans, and reports for project elements.
• Execute assignments applying engineering fundamentals to produce work.
• Assist in CAD-based design and 3D modeling of process systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design intent.
• Contribute to cost estimation and value engineering.
