CDM Smith is seeking an Industrial Client Service Leader to drive growth for electric utility clients across the United States. You will identify opportunities, win projects, and grow key accounts while coordinating with senior project managers and specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes.

In this role, you’ll lead business development, nurture valuable client relationships, and shape strategies that improve delivery and profitability for industrial sector projects at CDM Smith.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• EPC business development experience in industrial markets with demonstrated client relationships in power utility sectors.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development, client engagement, client service management, and strategic marketing for multiple major utility clients in the U.S.
• Develop and maintain high-value relationships with utility clients.
• Grow market share by partnering with senior project managers and technical specialists on client delivery.
• Collaborate with our technology group to stay at the forefront of tools that improve project delivery.
• Implement short and long-term strategies contributing to growth and CDM Smith profitability.
