Herc Rentals is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support the sales team with technical expertise in ProSolutions equipment and customer design needs. You will design, quote, and deliver HVACR, power generation, load banking, and pumping system solutions, translating customer requirements into actionable scopes.

The role emphasizes on-site customer engagement, data-driven prospecting, and collaboration with sales, service, and operations to ensure safe, compliant, and ROI-focused outcomes;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Technical training in HVAC R, mechanical, power and load banking, pumps or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue within assigned accounts using technical expertise in industrial equipment applications and sizing.
• Support sales reps with technical opportunities, on-site consults, and system requirement evaluations.
• Develop data-driven target prospect lists and participate in job walks.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed scopes of work and technical drawings.
• Create and deliver technical training and client-facing presentations using PowerPoint and AutoCAD visuals.
• Track opportunities in Salesforce and contribute to proposals and RFPs.
