Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Specialist to drive sales by identifying opportunities and partnering with Account Representatives in an assigned territory. You will educate customers on Motion Industries products through technical presentations and coordinate vendor resources to support sales.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with industry and sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling to client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; industry and sales experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial products including power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence customers and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue and profitability through new business and growth of existing accounts.
• Interact face-to-face with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Understand complex customer requirements for customized quoting.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and verify technical requirements.
• Ensure customer technical requirements are met.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.
• Identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales with local customers.
• Provide technical support as required.
• Coordinate vendor resources to support sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
