Job summary

OP is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to support manufacturing plant technology projects. You will work with plant operations, engineering, and technology teams to identify issues, design solutions, and drive implementations on-prem and in hybrid environments.

The role requires visiting the production floor, gathering requirements, and translating them into scalable architecture while ensuring security and reliability across OT/IT ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience across manufacturing/industrial and enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production-line issues and gather requirements.
• Experience with on-prem and hybrid architectures in manufacturing.
• Ability to translate findings into design standards and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational pain points with plant teams and stakeholders.
• Go to the production line to understand processes and gather information.
• Troubleshoot across OT/IT, data, cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Develop and present architecture recommendations and trade-offs.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable across plant and enterprise contexts.
