Job summary

ABB is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to drive growth in data center, renewable and wastewater markets. You will travel across Ohio with a strong focus on building relationships with engineers, installers, and contractors.

You will collaborate with Market Development Managers, provide technical guidance, and convert opportunities into orders while developing a robust sales pipeline and market strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial sales focused on the listed verticals.
• Strong knowledge of ABB installation products and applications.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers, engineers and contractors.
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive specifications and provide technical support for ABB products.
• Convert end users and OEMs through technical guidance and relationships.
• Engage with contractors to ensure ABB products are used in projects.
• Build local relationships with engineers, installers, distributors and partners.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with cross-team alignment.
• Conduct market analysis and relay needs to Market Development Managers.
