ABB, a leader in industrial technology, is seeking an Industrial Sales Application Engineer in the United States. The role drives growth across Data Center, Food & Beverage, Renewables, and Water & Wastewater segments, collaborating with Market Development Managers to advance specifications and build a robust sales pipeline.

The ideal candidate has a engineering or related degree, 3–5 years in industrial sales, strong communication, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial sales or related field, with focus on vertical markets.
• Ability to travel to support call cycles and growth efforts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical audiences.
• Proven ability to build relationships with engineers, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure ABB products are specified in new projects and renovations.
• Support efforts to convert End Users and OEMs to ABB products through technical expertise and relationships.
• Engage with contractors to ensure ABB products are used in projects with guidance.
• Build and maintain strong local relationships with engineers, installers, distributors, end-users, and partners.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with potential customers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and application guidance to customers for informed decisions.
