Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to lead growth in the Greater Ohio territory, focusing on Data Center, Renewable, and Waste Water markets.

The role involves extensive travel, collaboration with Market Development Managers, and building relationships with engineers, contractors, and OEMs. You will drive specifications, provide technical support, and develop a robust sales pipeline while aligning with ABB’s vertical market strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, business, or related field;Electrical engineering preferred.
• 3+ years in industrial sales or related field focusing on targeted verticals.
• Strong knowledge of ABB installation products and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive specifications and provide technical support to ensure ABB products are specified in projects.
• Convert end users and OEMs through technical expertise and relationship building.
• Engage with contractors to ensure ABB products are used in projects.
• Build and maintain local stakeholder relationships with engineers, installers, distributors, and end-users.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline in collaboration with Market Development Managers.
• Perform market analysis and provide VOC to MD Managers and Product Managers.
