Job summary

ABB is seeking an Industrial Sales Application Engineer to drive growth in data center, food & beverage, renewables, and water/wastewater sectors. You will partner with Market Development Managers to secure specifications, convert users and OEMs, and build a robust pipeline across Colorado, New Mexico, Texas with a hybrid work model.

The role demands a degree in engineering or related field, 3–5 years in industrial sales, and strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. Electrical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure ABB products are specified in new projects and renovations.
• Support efforts to convert End Users and OEMs to ABB products through technical expertise and relationships.
• Build and maintain strong local relationships with engineers, installers, distributors, end-users, and industry partners.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive engagement with potential customers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and application guidance to customers, ensuring they have information to make informed decisions.
