Job summary

AKHIRE INC in Anchorage is seeking an Industrial Sales & Business Development Manager to manage an established portfolio of customer accounts, develop new business, and drive growth in the assigned territory. You will discuss technical products, understand customer operations, analyze sales performance, and build long-term partnerships through collaboration with internal teams and product specialists.

Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management, outside sales, or business development experience.
• Industrial, welding, manufacturing, construction, or related industry experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Experience with CRM or sales tracking systems.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of customer accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
• Meet with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate industrial products and services.
• Monitor account activity, pricing, sales performance, and customer needs.
• Assist customers with product, order, delivery, billing, and account questions.
• Maintain accurate sales and customer information within company systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and product specialists to support customer accounts.
• Travel locally to meet with current and prospective customers.
