Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Process Control Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes at the Buckhannon, WV facility. The role focuses on evaluating existing processes, developing control strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while leading training and safety initiatives within maintenance.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager in a key technical role within the maintenance department, collaborating across teams to meet uptime, quality, and safety goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an industry-related field preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in PLC programming.
• Proven experience in HMI Programming, Rockwell preferred.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage projects and lead safety initiatives.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and electrical power knowledge; Rockwell preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify areas for process control optimization.
• Evaluate efficiency of manufacturing technologies, instruments, equipment and tools.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure uptime goals.
• Drive project planning and safety compliance per NFPA 70E.
• Lead and train teams to enhance technical skills and performance.
• Manage maintenance requests, inventory, and resources using CMMS.
